Board Members serve three-year terms. Please note that we have one open position that the board is currently working to fill. The board decided when a clear choice had not presented itself this past winter to wait on finding the right person rather than simply trying to get the position filled with anyone who was willing.
There are 11 members on the board - 6 Peace Lutheran Church Members, 3 community members (live or work in Hilltop), and 2 at-large members. There currently are not term limits within the governance documents of Peace Community Center, but this issue is being discussed and currently the board's practice is that a member should serve no longer than two consecutive three year terms prior to moving off of the board.
